My Cardinal was at the Shrine today! and I am here in Boston. Not that I would have been able to see him with 3500 others on Eden Hill.
But now I'm bummed. It makes me slightly homesick, actually.
It shouldn't come as a surprise, but it's also good to know he's part of this devotion. I feel a sense of commonality with him for the first time ever.

Oh, Cardinal Maida, how I miss him. That's too bad Seth, perhaps another time and another place.
Hopefully you're dealing okay with the snow/rain that's coming your way in the form of a nor'easter.
