The BBC last week reported the blessing the Pope gave to the international corps of journalists. It was very sweet, very kind, and very Christian when you consider how blatantly disrespectful the MSM have been towards him:
"Thanks to all of you, these historically important events have had worldwide coverage," he said. "I know how hard you have worked, far away from your homes and families, for long hours and in sometimes difficult conditions."
But if you read the rest of the article, you see how blithely they overlook the blessing and go right into their snippy and worn-out stereotyping: "In fact, some people believe control may be the watchword for this papacy."
The man has just extended the warmest of regards and all the BBC can muster is negative characterizations and abject shock at how much of a gentleman he really is! Rgh- how it gets my dander up...let's just pray that the MSM will gradually get a clue, and these are the first tentative steps in that direction.
