The Church is already revisiting the liturgical reform. It has borne fruit. Regardless of how wholesome the fruit may have been, was it a bumper crop? If we can do better, we should make every effort, knowing that the Holy Spirit will bless any work done in the service of He who sends.

I don't have any problem suggesting that in 1970, they may not have done the best job. It's worked so far because the Church cannot fail. But we should never prefer the Minimum.

Let's be Maximal. Pontifically maximal perhaps?
