Saint Lucy's Day

The Feast of St. Nicholas was an opportunity to pray for all the children of the world, those forced into child labor around the world, those forced into prostitution rings, and those who have been decimated by abortion. The Feast of St. Lucy is a time to pray for the young girls around the world today who have to face the terrible choice of murdering their child or being beaten, murdering their child or starving, murdering their child or seeing their rapist's face every time they look upon their child. Let us pray that they espouse the Lord as Lucy did, face their Tormentor with courage, and choose Life everlasting.
