Young Fogeys

Amy has linked to an article in the Wall Street Journal titled "Religion's Generation Gap" in which is described the problems that arise when adolescents/young adults pursue a more orthodox expression of their religious tenets or faith in contrast to their parents' beliefs.

I wonder what CCC has to say about that ;^)

In related news, I have added the blog Young Fogeys to my list of Places I Vist in the margin.

What's curious about all three of these sources is that I've been the 'young fogey' in my family, unable to stomach going to Mass at the parish where I grew up because the liturgical customs there are so far removed from the authentic liturgical norms I've come to know and love.

It's nice to know I'm not alone in this. Fogeys Unite!
