Novena to St. Francis: Conclusion

Saint Francis, pray with me to Our Lord
for the strength to risk all that I am in Jesus’ name;
for the single-minded abandonment of self;
to listen, to heal and to pray humbly.

Jesus, bring Your Most Sacred Heart into me
and let it beat as my own
and fill that heart to overflowing with Your grace
that I may bathe all that I meet with Your love.
n Your Most Glorious name I pray.
Amen.

Lord,
Make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred,
Let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master grant that I may
Not so much seek to be consoled
As to console;
To be understood,
As to understand;
For it is in giving that we
Receive, it is in pardoning that
We are pardoned.
And it is in dying that we are
Born to eternal life.
