Show your colors

While crowds of young pilgrims from around the world literally drape themselves in national flags, I find it timely to learn why the Holy See proudly waves yellow and white.

I thought it had something to do with the Keys of St. Peter...one silver, the other gold, signifying that which is bound on Earth (silver) and that which is bound in Heaven (gold).

If I owned such a drapeau, I'd have it hanging off my front porch today.
