Lucy's Lights

Tonight we lit our electric candles in the windows to honor St. Lucy, consecrated bride of Christ and martyr, our matrimonial patron saint. It was our second Anniversary, a good day to pray for greater illumination into how we can be better spouses to one another and how we've improved since last year.

Lighting just the candles was a good way for us to do some early decorations that don't contradict the season of Advent, which continues until the 24th.

We'll also be preparing the creche for Mary and Joseph, traveling on a donkey, very soon.
