You have been and will remain sorely missed. Your passing from this vale of tears only leaves those of us still in the vale with more tears, more sorrow, more wistfulness about what once was. I will remain a lifelong member of the Cardinal Ratzinger Fan Club.
You taught me the meaning of True Love, and without that I would never have realized my vocation. You were the world's pre-eminent Catechist, and one day I hope to call you Dr. Papa Benny.
