Stellar Luna

I don't know how many of you have looked outside your window tonight, but there's a total eclipse of the moon going on right now. It's not blood red, but it's quite an amazing sight. I think it looks like a giant jack'o'lantern, because it has more of an orangey glow and the man in the moon face looks like a smiling pumpkin. We've been taking photos with a time-elapse shutter as it phased in. If I knew how to post stuff like that, I would. It will happen again in 2007, so if you missed it this time, God has an instant replay (well- sorta...)

I attempted to place a site meter on my little template here, but it kept delaying the uploading of the website. It took forever for my page to open up, so I just scrapped the idea. If you're checking out this blog for the first time, please post a comment and let me know you've been here. And if you prefer something more prayerful, I encourage you to check out my friend's blog. He has created a place where people can share their journey into the fullness of Christ's presence. It's really quite beautiful.

Only a few more days until the Eve of the Feast of All Hallows!!! I hope you'll be carving your pumpkins into gruesome or comical expression, wearing your most frightly costume to scare away the demons, and telling stories that will make you think twice about getting too close to the Darkness...it's really the most Catholic day of the year. I'll have some weblinks for you to learn more and some stories of martyrdoms past and the real-life terrors haunting the Church. That'll put you in the Halloween spirit...Mhm-hm-hMwuh HAH hahhah-ha-ha!!!
