Transfigure me

Today, one of the luminous moments in the life of Christ, we join with all the angels, the prophets, the holy men and women of all times, and the Queen of Heaven in praising God the Eternal Logos who humbled himself in order that we may share in His GLORY.

We needed this moment on the mountaintop. We needed this sign that there is more to being human, far more than our senses can obtain. There is a potency within us that the Holy Spirit will reveal if we ask, seek, knock.

Let us fall on our knees, trusting that God will look not on our sins but on our faith. Let us remind ourselves that we are heirs and repent accordingly of our attachment to all that does not reveal the dazzling ardor of the Sacred Heart.
