I second that

“There is this whole generation of dissenters, who, to my mind, are working out their own personal journey, if you want to call it that, which evidently involves some struggle with Church teaching. And they have made this into a universal struggle. But, in point of fact, it is not a universal struggle. There are many, many, many Catholics who simply want to be Catholic, wholeheartedly, completely, fully, and it is not a part of their personal journey that they have to wrestle every Church teaching to the ground and see who comes up victorious.” - Dr. Janet Smith

This is the generation that simply needs a spanking and to be sent to bed without its supper. Why won't the Bishops lead the faithful? Why are we letting these jackals nurse from the same teat?

My thanks to Mark for the quote.

Reading 1
Ti 3:1-7
Beloved: Remind them to be under the control of magistrates and authorities,
to be obedient, to be open to every good enterprise.
They are to slander no one, to be peaceable, considerate,
exercising all graciousness toward everyone.
For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deluded,
slaves to various desires and pleasures,
living in malice and envy,
hateful ourselves and hating one another.

But when the kindness and generous love
of God our savior appeared,
not because of any righteous deeds we had done
but because of his mercy,
he saved us through the bath of rebirth
and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
whom he richly poured out on us
through Jesus Christ our savior,
so that we might be justified by his grace
and become heirs in hope of eternal life.
