Penitent Blogger has a great little memento about Pope St. Gregory the Great, which seems apropos of the current situation in New Orleans and the amazing response of various citizens, namely Amy Welborn who is offering her blog as a billboard to announce charitable drives.
Coincidentally I just had a conversation about the Gregorian reform of the calendar. He was great!
