Prayer to St. Thomas Aquinas

God our Father,

you made Thomas Aquinas known for his holiness and learning.
Help us to grow in wisdom by his teaching
and in holiness by imitating his faith.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Thus begins Catholic Schools Week. My new name at Confirmation was Aquinas. When I was looking for a college to attend, this one jumped out at me, and there I met my Beloved. She teaches at a Catholic school, my parents both teach in Catholic schools, my brothers are campus ministers in Catholic schools, and I am recently a catechist in religious education. So-- this is an important novena for my loved ones.
